The first meeting of the public organisation “Ukrainian Association of Joint Arthroplasty” was held. During the meeting, organisational issues related to the establishment of the association were discussed, including the draft provisions of the Statute, membership matters, and directions for information support of the Association’s activities.
Reports and comments on these issues were delivered by the President of the Association, DMSc Stanislav Yevhenovych Bondarenko, the Vice-President, Prof. Volodymyr Akymovych Filipenko, and the Secretary General, Prof. Volodymyr Oleksiiovych Tankut.
Members of the Association’s Presidium also took part in the meeting, including representatives from Dnipro — Prof. V. B. Makarov, and Zaporizhzhia — Prof. M. L. Holovakha, who expressed their support for the necessity and importance of establishing the Association.
Following the meeting, it was planned to create a register of Association members and to hold the next meeting at the end of January 2026, during which priority and pressing issues and challenges in joint arthroplasty in Ukraine will be discussed in greater detail.
