29–30 May 2026 saw the successful holding of the Second International Scientific and Practical Conference “Advanced Concepts in Knee and Hip Arthroplasty 2.0”, organised with the support of the Ukrainian Association of Joint Arthroplasty.
The conference brought together leading specialists from Ukraine and abroad to discuss current issues in modern arthroplasty, exchange professional experience, and present the latest scientific and clinical developments.
The programme covered a wide range of topics, including primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty, prevention and management of complications, implementation of robotic technologies, the use of patient-specific 3D implants, artificial intelligence, and advanced data analysis methods in orthopaedics.
Particular attention was drawn to the symposium dedicated to the specific aspects of hip arthroplasty following combat-related injuries, a topic of exceptional relevance to the Ukrainian medical community.
The conference also featured scientific discussions, masterclasses, and a competition for young researchers. The winners were recognised with awards, while the author of the best presentation received the opportunity to publish their scientific work in the specialised journal “Orthopaedics, Traumatology and Prosthetics”.
